Long time, no see!

Well, with my new work schedule (7a-4p) and us moving to a new house, I have not had access to my blog! No internet at the house yet and no access to blogs at work! Oh the tragedy! I've had fun checking in on my "blog buddies" the last few minutes. Wish I could more often!

The baby is growing like a weed! I'll be 30 wks. tomorrow. Just went to the doc yesterday and found out he was about 3 lbs. How exciting! His legs measure three days ahead of schedule too! Maybe he'll be tall, dark and handsome - just like his daddy...except for the tall part! It's been fun feeling him move and talking to Josh about what it will be like when he gets here! Can't wait!

We're going to our family reunion in Oklahoma City this weekend. I'm excited to see everybody and meet all the new little additions, but really, I can't wait to just get away. Josh and I got reservations at a nice hotel and plan to do a little sight-seeing while we're there. This will be our mini-vacation before the baby gets here. I also can't wait until the following Saturday. Josh got me a WONDERFUL birthday present! I'm going to spend three hours getting pampered with a massage, pedicure and manicure! WOW! Perfect timing! My mom gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure too! I think I'll save it for just before the baby gets here. That way at least my tootsies will be cute at the hospital!

Well, I guess that's all the time have for now. Hopefully I will be able to update my blog sooner next time. Until then...

He is RISEN!

I've noticed that newspapers and advertising have done less and less each year to mention much about Easter - except maybe an Easter dress sale. I was looking online this morning and something caught my eye on the Hobby Lobby home page. The first thing that popped up was this picture with some Scripture. I was impressed. Thank you Hobby Lobby for sharing the true meaning of Easter.

On another note...we had a wonderful day surrounded by family fellowship and food. This picture says it all!

A Creature Inside Me

That's the name of the movie I feel like I'm in! This kid is skirming around like a worm so much I think he wants out! The other night Josh was at work and I was lying in bed reading a little John Rosemond's Parenting by the Book. I started feeling a lot of movement and looked down and my belly was going to town! E.T. had phoned home! Will Smith has nothing on me!



It's amazing, this whole creation thing. How can anyone deny there is a God when something as miraculous as this takes place?

Two Babies and a Wedding...

My poor mother! As most of you know, Josh and I are expecting a baby boy on August 13th, 2009. I am now a little over 5 months pregnant and am really starting to show! We're very excited and are open to any advise from all you "been-there-done-that" experts! We've hit the sales at Duck Duck Goose and Raeh Lana's and are still waiting for our crib to arrive that is on back order until May 5th. Can't wait to get his room decorated!

Anyway...back to my poor mother. My older sister is due with her fourth baby on August 11th. Wow! What happens if we go into labor the same day! Again...my poor Mom. AND...my younger sister is planning on getting married August 8th. (The date was set just prior to our baby notifications being made!) Once again...my poor mother! Something's gotta give and I have a feeling it's not gonna be the one's having the babies! Unfortunately there's no rescheduling allowed when it comes to having babies. All I can say is...MY POOR MOTHER!

We're Moving!

I think we finally found the house that we love. After tossing around the idea of building a home, we decided to look around and see what homes were already out there. And we found one! It's in Greenbrier, which we like. (Except that it's going to add another 20 minutes to Josh's already long drive to North Little Rock for work.) There's plenty of room inside, lots of cabinet space, (who doesn't love that!), and plenty room to roam outside on the 1.3 acre lot. We don't close for another week, but I'm assuming everything is on track and we're ready to go. I've started packing, which is driving me insane! I'm kind of a neat freak and the boxes and stuff just laying around is enough to make anyone go nuts! I wanted to post a pic but I keep forgetting to take my camera every time we go look at it. Pretty soon though I'll get one posted. Can't wait to have everybody over!
